A Garden Centered Life

August Harvest

August Harvest

Long before Tennessee Kitchen Gardens was stamped on a business card, my garden was my center. I built a pair of raised beds after leaving a stressful job, and the process of digging in the soil, turning compost, and watching tiny seeds turn into a harvest was both a grounding and novel process for me.

Now that I have started the business of gardening, I have one primary goal: to inspire this community to build lives that remain connected to our gardens. How can we stay inspired to eat from our gardens? To entertain in our gardens? To care for the soil, the insects, and the environment that surrounds our gardens? Join me on my blog, as I explore wellness, environmental health, and general musings on all of the life metaphors that the garden can offer.
